It's
official - Dan Carter doesn't seem to have much luck when he's with the All
Blacks in Wellington.
Let's
face it no one in this country forgets the image of Dan having a training run
and crumpled in pain after a tournament ending groin strain. Seems he will be
on the sidelines again at Westpac stadium.
An
hour ago he has withdrawn himself from the lineup to face the Pumas on Saturday
with a calf strain. He has apparently been struggling with this all week
"however at training this mining it was apparent he would not be able to
play. We have done the sensible thing and withdrawn him from the team".
This
gives Aaron Cruden the No 10 jersey in the starting lineup and Beauden Barrett
comes into the bench. Aaron was in sensational form during the Chiefs super
rugby campaign and has been widely regarded as the in form first five.
I
personally can't wait to see what he can pull off this weekend. It could be
make or break for the rest of the Rugby championship if he can pull off a solid
performance.
