Diamonds and Ferns Commonwealth Games Squad's

Now that the ANZ Championship has wrapped up last weekend, it is now time for netball fans on both sides of the Tasman to turn their attention to the buildup for the Commonwealth Games with Australia and New Zealand both naming their 12 strong squads to take on the quest for gold.

Both teams have the inclusion of one debutante, Ellen Halpenny for the Silver Ferns and Tegan Caldwell for the Diamonds after both have had strong contributions to their respective franchises in the ANZ Championship.

The Australian Diamonds head into Glasgow with the form on paper and in the previous encounters between the 2 sides, time will tell if the Ferns will be able to account for the loss of Irene van Dyk.
